BAYANI AGBAYANI (DADO) Growing up in the poor area of Manila gave Bayani Agbayani his inspiration to street humor. His funny antics playing the comic relief along side stars like Cesar Montano and Aga Muhlach became popular to prime time audience that when his song Otso-Otso (literally 8-8) was launched it became an instant hit. Expectedly, the film version of Otso-Otso also became a blockbuster. Aside from being a comedic actor, Bayani composes, sings and writes. His passion also for basketball takes him to play all over the Philippines and in the world for exhibition matches.

EPY QUIZON (MANUEL) It is not easy being the son of the Philippines’s King of Comedy, but Epy made his mark when he appeared as the young Dolphy in Markova: Comfort Gay in 2001 earning him several acting awards right away. Although he grew up in mainstream cinema and appeared regularly on TV shows like Quizon Avenue and Zorro and Diyosa, his heart and support has always been for independents. His talent went into full bloom when he played lead in Radyo and Pinoy Blonde. His portrayal as J.C. in the Philippine version of the hit French sitcom Camera Café helped earned the show an Asian Television Award for Best Comedy program in 2008.

ALESSANDRA DE ROSSI (CECILIA) at twenty-three has already appeared in so many films and television shows. She first made the audience notice her thespian skills when she played a teenage music student in the award-winning psychological drama Azucena. Her rise to stardom however was launched in her 2003 drama “Munting Tinig”. This time she plays a music teacher in a rural village. The film and her garnered acting awards for her and good reviews from major American newspapers and played at several international film festivals. She has appeared in the Singaporean horror hit “The Maid” and was lead the Filipino-Spanish drama Barcelona. Her latest film “Manila” premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last May

MERYLL SORIANO (ANNA) started young in show business playing in several sitcoms in the Philippines. Although being the niece of Philippine Diamond star Maricel Soriano and the daughter of the No.1 Noontime Host Willie Revillame helped her get her break, her acting skill however is innate. From comedy, she was “re-discovered” as a serious actress when she played a prostitute in Roomboy. Meryll earned her first acting award in 2005 during the Cinemalaya Independent film festival. Since then she has been a regular choice for many independent film directors. Her last two films Boses and Ploning were award winners critics’ picks. Despite her success however, Meryll values education so much that she divides her time between acting and studying graphic design.
